Citronella Oil Stain and Paint Additive, repels carpenter bees, mosquitoes, dirt daubers, lady bugs, spiders and other insects. Mix full 8oz container into 5 gallons of stain or paint and mix thoroughly and often and apply coating as per manufacturers recommendation. Can also be mixed with 5 gallons of water and used as a general repellent. Perfect for new fencing, decks, log homes and cabins.

Hello , does the citronella could be added to a water based solid stain ?
You will have to shake/mix pretty consistently. Likely every few minutes at least. It is an oil based product, and obviously oil and water don't mix.
